Re: How to Manually Rename Movies

in manage, select the movie and beside the name is a drop-down to select your preferred name... but this won't rename the files themselves.... the idea is to select your preferred naming before download.

Re: Reset Database?

You can just delete the databse folder from the data_dir.
Or, in Manage page, select all movies then select change quality to send them all back to wanted... or just delete all from manage page.

Re: Delete windows installation

make a backup of the config files, then use the windows "Programs and Features" tool from control panel to remove CouchPotato. Then restore the config files and database etc.

Re: snatch problem

could be an issue with the torrent potato provider code.
Have you tested latest develop branch? Have you tested with jacket set up on http just to verify it all works that way? if it does, we just need to ensure the https is passed through for the download/snatch.

Re: Renamer

if you want postprocessing, try nzbToMedia (originally started from SABtoSickBeard).
this supports all categories and renames to SickBeard and CouchPotato.

Re: How to get CP to download the highest quality/biggest file?

in settings, qualities, make sure you check the file sizes for each category. Enable debug logs, do a search, then check the logs to see if it lists the release you wanted... it might have "ignored release XXXXXX due to ...." or "wrong XXXXXX searching for YYYYYY but ZZZZZZZ found"

click "source"

then click " windows"

you can use git to pull from/switch to develop branch if needed.

Re: Restore "marked as done" Films

look at the backup and restore tool in the external scripts thread. basically you can export a list of all movies in your wanted and manage lists. then do a full manage scan (with option "cleanup after" enabled. This will remove all missing movies from the database. now use the backup and ...

Building for OSX windows requires a bit more efforts (a lot of testing + build tools etc). RuudBurger hasn't had a lot of time of late, but has been fixing issues in source and merging commits provided by others. The big issue is no one else seems to be in a position to build releases. I recommend t...

Re: Full scan Linux + davfs2

so this is on a full manage scan that this happens? If you have .nfo files for each movie, then CP will parse the .nfo files to get identify the movie, but I'm not sure that this will stop it trying to parse the actual video file. This may be a limitation, but generally CP is best run on the system ...
