Is this getting implemented into CP at all? Or is it in the develop branch somewhere?

Something I'm interested in helping out with development for. I tried sending a PM to jkaberg about getting access to the developer forum for the TV branch, but I think I don't have PM privileges yet.

Thanks Clinton, I found his email on github, it's not listed in his forum profile.

Looking forward to seeing progress on this, finding SickBeard to be a lot more unstable than CP and will be much easier for installations for family devices to just have CP for them to think about!

i can't wait for this.. just changed from sickbeard to nzbdrone but would really like to just have CP handle both movies and TV..

As i can't program, i am more than happy to test. [/quote]Are you guys anywhere near that stage with the tv branch? i saw the last bit of code was added around 10 days ago..

It's still a way off for the moment. I've just come home from a 10 day holiday so haven't been working on it, not sure what the other guys have been up to in the meantime.

How useful is this project yet for downloading TV series?

Is there much work needed still or does it already do a great job at handling tv shows?
Furthermore is this project still in development?

This sounds promising. I am going to bookmark this and will be checking in regularly for updates. I really hope you can get it to work. I wish the devs best of luck in implementing this.

Can't wait for this! i've used sickbeard, mr oranges sickbeard, sickrage and now nzbdrone, all of which have been giving me problems. If couchpotato tv branch is made with the same reliability as its movie branch this will destroy the competition.

Any updates on this? I've been looking forward to when couchpotato can do my shows as well.

i would like this too.

im a mac user now, and sickbeard it's too "nerdy" too install here...

if only CP would rule them all.. (movies and shows) it would be amazing

Hey everyone!

Thanks for your interest in the thread and its subject. I'm sorry to say there has been very slow progress on the tv branch and I dont see any reason for it to change anytime soon.

If anyone should at any point be interested in continueing the work your more than welcome to do so, the tv branch should be functional (as last I heard) and is *probably* only a PR away from up-to-date with dev branch.

My own personal hope is to continue working on the branch after my exams this semester (at the very earliest by June 1st)

Closeing this thread to make sure everyone gets this notice.
