Extracts ok, but renaming and moving cause problems

Postby paukyducky » 25 Apr 2018 04:03

Hello!
I have an issue where CouchPotato has problems renaming and moving the extracted files. It has no problems extracting, but then it cannot move. The bug logs say permissions issue, but everything is set to 777 and Transmission (which is the downloader) makes sure everything is set to 777 too.

https://pastebin.com/heY7Wf2a

And the permissions for both the download and renaming folder are 777

root@couchpotato_1:/media/Downloads/CouchPotato # ls -ld
drwxrwxrwx+ 37 root StorageMedia 39 Apr 23 21:34 .

root@couchpotato_1:/media/Movies/Newly Downloaded # ls -ld
drwxrwxrwx+ 17 root StorageMedia 18 Apr 21 22:05 .

Can I get some help please... ? Thank you!!!

#metoo

### Steps to reproduce:
1. Select any movie
2. wait for rutorrent to download
3. Permissions Error in logs. File is not copied.

### Information:
Movie(s) I have this with: All
Quality of the movie being searched: Any
Providers I use: iptorrents
Version of CouchPotato: git:(CouchPotato:CouchPotatoServer master) 12ca4c22 (2018-03-31 17:29:42)
Running on: Docker (CentOS 7)

### Logs:
```
05-28 13:24:27 ERROR [tato.core.plugins.renamer] Couldn't move file "/downloads/incoming/Fargo.1996.720p.BluRay.DTS.2Audio.x264-HDS/Fargo.1996.720p.BluRay.DTS.2Audio.x264-HDS.mkv" to "/movies/Fargo (1996).mkv": Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/app/couchpotato/couchpotato/core/plugins/renamer.py", line 858, in moveFile
shutil.copy(old, dest)
File "/usr/lib/python2.7/shutil.py", line 133, in copy
with open(dst, 'wb') as fdst:
IOError: [Errno 13] Permission denied: '/movies/Fargo (1996).mkv'
/movies is linked to /media/Movies which has 777 permissions across the board. It is a CIFS share on a Netgear NAS and I have it mounted as an admin user. Permissions are identical both locally on the NAS as well as the share, yet Sonarr does not have this issue. I have to manually copy any movie I download.
Docker creation command
docker create --name=couchpotato \
-v /data/config:/config \
-v /data/downloads:/downloads \
-v /media/Movies:/movies \
-e PUID=997 \
-e GUID=994 \
-e TZ=US/Eastern \
-p 5050:5050 \
linuxserver/couchpotato
Permissions
[root@ylum incoming]# ls -ld /media
drwxrwxrwx 6 user users 0 May 25 15:20 /media
[root@ylum incoming]# ls -ld /media/Movies
drwxrwxrwx 14 user users 0 May 28 13:16 /media/Movies
All Movies are copied to this dir, I don't use subdirectories in my renamer config. Also, I am using "copy" not "link" in my renamer.
Maybe no one cares, but if this is representative of the CP community, maybe it's time to check out radarr.
Yep, I'm pretty fed up with the issues and lack of community for this product, free or not it's a pain in the arss. I'm going to check out radarr tonight.
