Deleted Files

Postby tooviral » 14 Jun 2014 22:52

Where do the deleted files go?? If they are permanently deleted, can there be a option to move them to the recycle bin or a deleted files folder??

Python performs an os.unlink, so this defaults to the system's handling.

shouldn't this mean if my system has a recycle bin, it should put the deleted files into that bin? For some reason, they just disappear when a newer version is moved over to the folder.

no, the recycle bin is a front-end interface for the "delete"
If you use terminal/command line, a delete would not send to recycle bib unless there was something in the back end fine structure (maybe in raid handling) that would send deleted field to recycle bin...
