Torrentleech changed category #s

Postby Lynkz83 » 29 Aug 2017 18:20

To start i HAVE NO PYTHON KNOWLEDGE at all, i just googled and dabbled..

The following is what is showing in "AppData\Roaming\CouchPotato\application\CouchPotato-3.0.1.win32\couchpotato\core\media\movie\providers\torrent\torrentleech .py"

Code: Select all

    cat_ids = [
        ([13], ['720p', '1080p', 'bd50']),
        ([8], ['cam']),
        ([9], ['ts', 'tc']),
        ([10], ['r5', 'scr']),
        ([11], ['dvdrip']),
        ([13, 14], ['brrip']),
        ([12], ['dvdr']),
    ]

Torrentleech changed its categories, to the following (with the category #s in parenthesis):

Code: Select all

Movies
Cam (8)
TS/TC (9)
DVDRip/DVDScreener (11)
WEBRip (37)
HDRip (43)
BlurayRip (14)
DVD-R (12)
Bluray (13)
4K (41)
Boxsets (15)
Documentaries (29)
Foreign (36)

So i attempted to modify the above cat_ids to the following (after backing up the original):

Code: Select all

    cat_ids = [
        ([8], ['cam']),
      ([9], ['ts', 'tc']),
      ([11], ['dvdrip', 'r5', 'scr', '720p']),
      ([12], ['dvdr']),
      ([13], ['720p', '1080p', 'bd50']),
      ([14], ['720p', '1080p', 'brrip']),
      ([37], ['dvdrip', 'r5', 'scr', '720p']),
      ([41], ['720p', '1080p', 'bd50']),
      ([43], ['r5', 'scr', '720p', '1080p']),
    ]

And started to get errors in the logs:
https://pastebin.com/1UcfCyvR

so i am at a loss as to how else get CP to search the proper categories, it will not find movies that i know are there, ive only been able to successfully download one (1) movie, either way the provider file has been changed to, anyone else have any idea's im currently out of them!?!

Not sure if my issue is related to this but CP is downloaded the wrong movie from torrentleech for me ... for example

couchpotato searched " justice league " and it downloaded " justice league dark " from torrentleech
anothere was " it " it download "it and the way foreward " or something

Thank you for your post on what you tried to do in order to accomplish Couch Potato to find media again.

I had the same problem, and used your post but with a few modifications. I rather used the qualities (brrip, 720p, 1080p and so forth) to direct couch potato to the correct categories. I thought, since what you did didn't work for you, I tried this instead. This means any quality in my .py is only mentioned once - maybe this has to do with your errors? Note that I'm not THAT picky with the qualities, I just want 720p and 1080p most times.

Anyway, here is my file:

Code: Select all

    cat_ids = [
        ([13, 37, 43, 14], ['720p', '1080p', 'bd50', 'brrip']),
        ([8], ['cam']),
        ([9], ['ts', 'tc']),
        ([11], ['r5', 'scr', 'dvdrip']),
        ([12], ['dvdr']),
    ]
