CP installed on Synology DSM 5.2 hacked?

Postby sangayzog » 09 Nov 2015 18:56

I have installed the CP ver. 21843 on a Synology NAS via community hub a few days ago.
I am using Sazbnd for downloads.
I have followed all of the security guidelines as suggested by the developers and experts.
However, I have discovered that someone has been snatching and downloading a lot of movies onto my NAS.
I have changed all the passwords and deleted all of the incomplete/residual files.
Today I have discovered that the same thing happened again...
How can I prevent this?
Thank you.

Has this been"hacked" or do you have automation features turned on (i.e it adds a stack of movies and then downloads)
if port 5050 is not externally available, it is unlikely this was hacked.
